Over the past 12 years, the "Tango for Seniros" project has gained ground.

Now, all over France, elderly people are singing and dancing the Tango! And it's proven to do them a world of good!

In the run-up to the Paris Olympic Games in 2024, this dynamic is evolving into a more federative and broader project,

"The Tangueros Seniors Olympiads".

The idea is for seniors in participating locations to take the melody of La Cumparsita, the internationally recognized Tango anthem

and recreate its lyrics, choreography and show, which will result in, for each participant,

a short film produced and directed by ABB Reportages, and an entry in the competition.

All this work will culminate in a meeting during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games,

8th, 9
th and 10th August 2024,

on the Dijon Campus, home of the 2024 Games,

at the heart of the "Olympic Village of the University of Burgundy", labeled "Generation 2024",

and at the initiative of its UFR STAPS.

The event will be sponsored by Clément Leroy,

world champion in static bicycle balance and world record-holder in static bicycle balance endurance.

A free event open to all!
