For the emotion to meet Olivier Greif

Olivier Greif   A Tribute to Olivier Greif

In 1998, Anne Bramard-Blagny made a film about Olivier Greif, a much admired composer. Some years later while working at the Prée, an artists-in-residence program, she had the happy occassion of meeting Benoit MENUT, who had not only been a student of Greif's but who also resided in the same abbey. Since Olivier Greif's death in 2000, Benoit composed a breath taking musical piece in tribute to Olivier's work, and Anne filmed again ... She embarked on a new adventure, which culminated in a documentary to honor and mark the 10 year anniversay of Olivier Greif's death.

The confirmed partners for this adventure are: MEZZO, CANAL 32, the SACEM, MFA (Musique Francaise d'Aujourd'hui), FCM (Fonds de Création Musicale), CNRS-IMAGES (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), POUR QUE L'ESPRIT VIVE and l'Association Olivier GREIF.
